Addictions are tearing our lives, our society and our families apart and a medical cure has not yet been found. The most effective manner of treatment for addiction is to address underlying issues such as trauma, neglect or abuse, engage in a Twelve Step Recovery Program and live in a sober, structured, nurturing environment for a period of up to one year.
The McCoy House for Sober Living offers such a recovery environment. Women are held accountable while learning new healthy living skills. Our focus is on the emotional and spiritual growth of our clients as this is where the healing process begins.
Recently approved as a Mississippi 501(c)3 Charity, The McCoy House for Sober Liviing can now receive tax-deductible donations. Some are not able to pay the cost, but operating expenses remain the same. Donations will enable us to continue to serve everyone without regard to ability to pay.
