Overview

The McCoy House is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where residents are restored to healthy living by providing a safe and positive atmosphere. Our shared housing environment ultimately enables residents to lead responsible and productive lives without the use of alcohol, drugs, or other self-destructive behaviors.

​Monthly residential fee includes:

  • All utilities
  • All household supplies
  • Linens, sheets and towels
  • Yoga and meditation
  • Cooking classes
  • Equine therapy
  • Art therapy

Process

All prospective residents must have completed some form of treatment such as inpatient, outpatient, or individual therapy with a foundation in sobriety prior to coming to The McCoy House. Prospective residents are interviewed to determine appropriateness, investment in recovery and willingness to change.

Referring therapists can be involved in the continuing care plan of their referred clients, if desired.

Requirements

The requirements of living at The McCoy House:

  • ​Maintain sobriety
  • Attend 12-step meetings
  • Attend weekly house meetings
  • Embrace change
  • Submit to random drug tests
  • Abide by household guidelines
  • Rent accountability
  • Sign a contract

Please contact us for information on residence fees. ​While living at The McCoy House, residents volunteer at The Real McCoy Thrift Store & Boutique where they practice work skills, including merchandising, cash register operation and customer service.
